Southport Flower Show 'A View of the Olive Tree'. Garden Designed by Kirman Design, Cheshire. The design conceived was a highly contemporary family garden. The design execution demonstrates the multi-use capability of the space for cooking, eating and socialising. Features also included a pizza oven, log store, kitchen work space and handy work top herb garden and a contemporary pergola. all overlooking an ornamental pool. Within the pool, an island featuring a specimen cloud cut olive tree formed the main centrepiece of the garden.

Accolades: Large Gold Medal, The Brockhouse Trophy: Best Exhibit in the Show, The Lady Pilkington Trophy: Display that best describes the theme of the show. The Southport Corporation Trophy: Best (Class 1) Large Garden. The Pontins Trophy: Best outside show garden. Kirman Design are based in Cheshire and design and build gardens. Kirman Design are Garden Designers in Cheshire and the northwest and Landscapers in Cheshire and the northwest.

The Brief:

To create a contemporary garden using the theme of the show: 'Mediterranean' and use products which the sponsor C&W Berry supply (porcelain, aggregate and fencing).

The Garden:

The design conceived was a highly contemporary family garden. The design execution demonstrates the multi-use capability of the space for cooking, eating and socialising. Features also included a pizza oven, log store, kitchen work space and handy work top herb garden and a contemporary pergola. all overlooking an ornamental pool.
